We are proud to be part of the network Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Finance (INEF). Launched in June 2015 it intends to explore the nexus between innovation, entrepreneurship and finance through numerous research and exchange activities.
Funded through a grant from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) within its Strategic Partnerships and Thematic Networks funding programme, and coordinated by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Hohenheim in Germany, the network builds on existing relationships within the Hermes network and includes the following partner universities :
Université de Strasbourg, EM Strasbourg Business School, France
Università Ca’Foscari Venezia, Department of Management and School of Economics, Languages and Entrepreneurship, Italy
Université de Liège, Haute Ecole de Commerce, Belgium
Texas A&M University, Mays Business School, United States of America
Southwestern University of Economics and Finance, School of Business Administration, China
University of Hohenheim, Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, Germany
The interface between Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Finance offers a comprehensive scope for research – innovation has to be seen as the core competence of entrepreneurship, and hence requires appropriate financing.
Over the three and a half years duration of the programme, the INEF network will address the many unanswered and economically relevant research questions by supporting various activities such as organised research stays for professors and PhD students, research workshops and conferences, student exchanges and summer schools.
By participating in the network, EM Strasbourg Business School seeks to strengthen its international cooperation in the field of research and provide further international opportunities for its faculty and students.
