The Bachelor of European Management is a supplementary undergraduate degree, designed for exchange students within our network of international partners.
The Bachelor of European Management: A Degree with an International Outlook
This degree aims to train students for leadership positions in an international environment. During your studies, you will be made aware of ethical business practices, diversity, and sustainable development, in line with our School’s three values. The variety of management fields and the different approaches addressed in the program, reinforced by the international profile of our students, make the BEM an enriching experience both personally and academically.
At the end of this program (two semesters), you will receive a Bachelor of European Management from EM Strasbourg.
Some Practical Information to Help You Get a Clearer Picture!
Candidates must have completed at least two years of higher education (120 ECTS credits or equivalent) in management before arriving in Strasbourg.
Level B2 in the language of instruction (English or French) is strongly recommended.
Courses in French as a foreign language (from beginner to upper-intermediate level) are included in the program of study and will allow you to develop your language skills quickly.
Nomination and Application Procedures
Interested in our Bachelor of European Management? Contact your home university, which can provide you with information on the nomination and application procedures. Only partner universities can nominate students for an exchange program at EM Strasbourg, and we cannot accept direct applications.
- For programs beginning in the fall semester, nominations are accepted until May 31.
- For programs beginning in the spring semester, nominations are accepted until October 31.

Grades and Credit Transfer
EM Strasbourg uses the French grading system which ranges from 0 to 20, with 20 being the highest grade. To validate a course set, you will have to obtain at least 10/20. Grade conversion to other grading systems is carried out by your home university.
