"On 29 January 2026, I had the pleasure of defending my Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR), entitled "Advancing Sustainable Development – Exploiting the Potential of Management Control and Disclosure", at the EM Strasbourg Business School of the Université de Strasbourg. This HDR builds on my research on how sustainability disclosure and sustainability management control jointly contribute to strengthening accountability in increasingly institutionalized sustainability environments.
I would like to sincerely thank the members of the jury — Anaïs Hamelin, Géraldine Broye, Florence Depoers, Remmer Sassen, Sylvain Marsat, and Anne Jeny — for the inspiring discussions. I am also very grateful to the LaRGE Research Center and EM Strasbourg Business School – Université de Strasbourg for the stimulating research environment in which this research was developed.
I look forward to further developing my research through new international projects, as well as to supervising and mentoring doctoral students in the field of sustainability accounting."
