Jeanne Bessouat and Karine Bouvier had their work showcased in a recent article in The Conversation France : "Circular Economy: Consumers, the Forgotten Players in European Regulation."
Published on October 28, 2025, the article highlights the still too often neglected role of European consumers. It shows how their consumption choices, expectations in terms of sustainability, and citizen initiatives directly influence corporate strategies and European regulatory decisions.
This work is part of the research conducted by the Observatory of the Future on the circular economy.
