Finding Housing
For non-European students, a certificate of accommodation is required to obtain a visa. Find out more about our housing partners.
University Residences
Le Crous
A limited number of rooms in CROUS university residences are reserved for exchange students. Applications are made via EM Strasbourg's online application procedure in June for the fall semester and in November for the spring semester. The link to the application form and the application deadline are emailed to all students nominated in good time. Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and we cannot guarantee accommodation to everyone who requests it. You can, however, request a room directly on the CROUS website, in accordance with their application deadlines.
Please note, however, that due to the room allocation calendar and processing times, you cannot wait for Crous accommodation confirmation to obtain your visa!
