AIMAC 2019 best paper award

Amélie Boutinot, a research supervisor and lecturer at EM Strasbourg, HuManiS and Hélène Delacour, a Professor at the University of Lorraine, CEREFIGE won the Best Paper Award for their study “A review and future directions for future research on the creative industry” presented at the AIMAC international conference held at Ca'Foscari University of Venice from June 23 to 26, 2019.

 

Through the systematic analysis of about 150 articles published on the creative industries since the 1970s, the paper seeks to highlight the most prominent themes, stakeholders, methods, industries, and others decade by decade. The challenge is unearth a history of theorizing on the creative industries, to generate an identity and a history common to this scientific field, and to propose avenues for future research on this theme. Since winning the award, the authors have been invited to submit the paper to the International Journal of Arts Management, a journal associated with the AIMAC conference.
