
For the 2025/2026 academic year, EM Strasbourg is strengthening its management team with two strategic appointments:
- Daria Plotkina, associate professor, becomes Associate Dean for the Master's Program;
- Philippe Nanopoulos, lecturer, takes over as Director of Executive Education and Corporate Relations.
These developments mark a new stage in the implementation of the 2023–2028 strategic plan, which aims to strengthen the coherence and attractiveness of the programs while consolidating the School's academic and European roots.
Daria Plotkina, appointed Associate Dean for the Master's Program
As Associate Dean for the Master's Program, Daria Plotkina now oversees all 23 public master’s programs (via full-time study, continuing education, and co-op). Her mission is to ensure their development and increase their visibility in France and internationally.
A graduate of EM Strasbourg, associate professor in marketing and information systems, doctor of management sciences, and holder of the French qualification to supervise research (HDR, 2024), she joined the teaching team in 2016. Her research, conducted at HuManiS Research Center, focuses on consumer well-being, persuasive communication, and audience vulnerability.

Philippe Nanopoulos, appointed Director of Executive Education and Corporate Relations
With the appointment of Philippe Nanopoulos, the School is affirming its ambition to develop its continuing education offerings for professionals. By leading executive education and corporate relations, he will also be responsible for strengthening partnerships, developing the School's roots in its economic ecosystem, and creating new opportunities for students and partner organizations.
A lecturer at EM Strasbourg for over 30 years and a specialist in marketing and data science, Philippe Nanopoulos has also been a consultant and an elected member of the School Board of Trustees for over 10 years. He has carried out numerous pedagogical responsibilities, including directing the study of marketing within the Bachelor of International Business and overseeing the PGE’s Data Culture certificate program.
