EM Strasbourg Business School has just been officially re-accredited by EQUIS for a three-year period. After initial accreditation in 2022, this international distinction, awarded by the EFMD EQUIS Accreditation Board, attests to the institution's overall excellence and the quality of its strategy, programs, and impact.

A rare triple accreditation

"This new recognition confirms our ongoing commitment to offering our students a high-level management education that is both academically rigorous and deeply rooted in our cross-border ecosystem. Since 2022, our membership in the exclusive circle of schools holding the triple accreditation EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA places EM Strasbourg in the top 1% of business schools worldwide," says Babak Mehmanpazir, Dean of EM Strasbourg.

Strengths highlighted by the Peer Review Team

The EQUIS framework pays particular attention to three overarching dimensions: internationalization; ethics, responsibility, and sustainability; and connections with practice.

At the end of their visit, the Peer Review Team praised several major strengths of EM Strasbourg:

  • Strong links with the business world, which enrich our teaching and offer students real opportunities for internships and co-op in the cross-border Upper Rhine Valley
  • Comprehensive student support, with a coherent set of training and services dedicated to the health and well-being of students, demonstrating the close attention we pay to their needs
  • A strong commitment to interdisciplinarity, embodied in the centers of expertise and corporate chairs that promote knowledge transfer and enhance the impact of academic research
  • Responsive and strategic leadership, whose recent actions have been praised, particularly in connection with the implementation of the 2023-2028 strategic plan

Reaffirmed ambition

Babak Mehmanpazir concludes: "This EQUIS re-accreditation further strengthens our ambition to become the leading management school in the Upper Rhine Valley capable of empowering every individual and every organization so that they may transform what makes them unique into strengths and thrive beyond borders. This success is the fruit of the collective commitment of our faculty, staff, students, and partners. May they all be warmly thanked."
