On March 17, 2026, PolEMic's, the debates and conferences branch of EM Strasbourg’s Arts Association, welcomed Vincent Salimon, CEO of BMW France, for an evening of discussion and exchange open to all.
The event was a rare opportunity to hear a leading executive speak openly about his career path, his responsibilities at the head of BMW France within an international group, and the realities of leadership at the highest level.
On the agenda
Vincent Salimon spoke to a packed lecture hall during a one-hour Q&A session. He discussed his professional background, the major challenges facing BMW France, and the outlook for an automotive industry undergoing major change.
Career, international experience, networking, public image, and advice for students: the topics covered were both varied and concrete. "Be natural" and "you are the talents of tomorrow" were among the messages Vincent Salimon shared to encourage the students in attendance. The discussion was in-depth, direct, and above all deeply inspiring for those looking to grow in a demanding international environment.
The conversation continued over a cocktail reception, giving participants the opportunity to carry on the discussion in a more informal setting.
The event was organized by Chirine Talib, head of the PolEMic's branch of the Arts Association.
