PGE Entrance Exam: International Students - EM Strasbourg

The Entrance Exam

The PGE international entrance exam allows international students to join Programme Grande École at EM Strasbourg.

  • Registration fee: €80


Entry Requirements

The international entrance exam is for students who satisfy one of the following conditions:

For entry into the third year of the program:

  • Hold 120 non-French ECTS credits or the equivalent by the end of the current academic year
  • Hold 120 French ECTS credits or the equivalent by the end of the current academic year and not be of French nationality 

For entry into the fourth year of the program:

  • Hold or be in your final year of a non-French three-year undergraduate degree (180 ECTS credits)
  • Hold or be in your final year of a French three-year undergraduate degree (180 ECTS credits) and not hold French nationality

Language requirements: 

  • French track:
    • B1 l​​​evel in English (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, or in-house test)
    • B2 level in French (DELF, DALF, TCF)
  • English track:
    • B2 level in English (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, or in-house test)

The application period will be open from November 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 for the September 2026 intake.



Admission Procedure

  • Register for the international admissions entrance exam
  • Attend an interview
  • Take tests for entry into the third, fourth, or fifth year of the program

 

 

Important Dates

  1. Application period:
    Applicants can apply from November 1, 2025 until August 31, 2026.

    Please note, from July 1st onwards, the School reserves the right to refuse applicants whose information in our possession allows us to anticipate a visa refusal or an inability to meet all the conditions to begin their studies in September 2026.
  2. Written tests:
    To be taken online
    Logical reasoning test in French or in English depending on the chosen study track or TAGE MAGE or GMAT score
    English test or TOEIC, TOEFL, or IELTS score
  3. Interviews:
    To be taken online
    Motivational interview: in French or English depending on the chosen study track
    The applicant is invited to introduce him- or herself via a three-minute pitch on the theme "A success or an achievement I am proud of." This presentation aims to highlight a significant personal or professional accomplishment. Following the pitch, the admissions board will conduct a Q&A session to explore certain aspects in more detail.
    English interview: for applicants who are not native English speakers
  4. Admissions results:

    Results will be available within 15 days after the last test.  
    Our International Relations Office will contact you in March / April to begin the admission process and the visa application.
