On December 11 and 12, 2017, the ESDES-UCLy (Catholic University of Lyon) symposium was held in partnership with Société Générale on the theme of: “Governance and Sustainable Performance of Family Businesses”.
On this occasion, Patrice Charlier, head of the Governance & Family Business Transfer Chair, gave two plenary lectures as Guest Speaker:
- “The sustainability, succession, and governance of family businesses”
- “The distribution of wealth in family businesses”
Jonathan Bauwerearts, member of the Chair, won the prize for the best paper at the conference for his collaboration with Olivier Colot: “The typical influence of the CEO and the competitive environment on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of family businesses”
