The biannual Research Seminar on Sustainable Supply Chain Management was held at EM Strasbourg Business School from September 18 to 20, 2023.
It was coordinated by Dr. Philipp C. Sauer and welcomed a total of 17 participants from EM Strasbourg Business School and partner universities in Berlin, Kassel, Nürnberg, Reutlingen, Ulm (Germany), and Lahore (Pakistan).
The seminar series featured opportunities for research, networking, and training, seven research presentations, and a roundtable on international career paths in academia. The research presentations focused on aspects of supply chain digitalization, sufficiency-oriented behavior, sustainability tensions, supply chain due diligence, and impact measurement. Participants also took time to explore the beautiful city of Strasbourg, including its canals and cathedral.
