Choose the Co-op Placement
Available in the Bachelor of International Business, the Programme Grande École, and some of our University Master’s Programs, co-op placements combine academic excellence with hands-on professional experience.
Each year, nearly 700 EM Strasbourg students choose a co-op placement. Under a co-op or professional training contract, you alternate between periods working for a company and periods of academic study at the School, according to a set schedule.
A Co-op Placement: A Real Springboard for Your Career
Gaining professional experience through a co-op placement allows you to develop practical skills while earning your degree, with numerous financial and professional benefits.
The Advantages of a Co-op Placement
- Your tuition is paid by your host company.
- You earn a co-op student salary.
- You could receive a job offer at the end of the co-op period.
- You develop real professional skills to highlight in the job market.
ℹ️ You can complete your co-op placement across the Rhine!
Our students have the opportunity to complete their co-op contract in Germany, in the Upper Rhine region (including South Palatinate and the Rhine corridor in Baden-Württemberg). As with French co-op contracts, the CFAU manages the contract and arranges the training agreement.

I chose the co-op track because it allows me to combine theory and practice. I believe that a co-op program is the ideal way to stand out from the many business students out there. This experience has simply helped me grow.”

“I am in my fourth year of the Programme Grande École, completing a co-op placement as a sales representative for the Andros, Bonne Maman, and Mamie Nova brands. I chose this program for its flexibility and international outlook, particularly because the co-op format allows me to learn both in class and in a real-world business environment. What I particularly enjoy is the balance between theory and practice, with courses that address business challenges and projects that develop my creativity and initiative."
